Larissa’s professional experiences in the community and non-profit sector over the last decade range from managing several coworking spaces, to create economic opportunities for minority and local small businesses to coordinating and developing anti-poverty programs to help support underserved families and residents across the city and metro area.
Larissa currently serves as the District Director for Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, where she passionately serves communities, like Southwest. Larissa also uses her passion for service and talent to serve on other local boards including Mary Turner Center for Advocacy, Grandmont Community Association and the E. Warren Development Corporation. Larissa is a proud graduate of DPS schools, has an Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Urban Studies from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Community Development from the University of Detroit Mercy. |
